Smithsonian Museum of American History
This Smithsonian Museum collects and preserves more than 3 million artifacts—all true national treasures. They take care of everything from the original Star-Spangled Banner and Abraham Lincoln’s top hat to Dizzy Gillespie’s angled trumpet and Dorothy’s ruby slippers from “The Wizard of Oz.” Their collections form a fascinating mosaic of American life and comprise the greatest single collection of American history and waiting inside are the solutions to some of your clues.
Smithsonian Museum of Air and Space
Since the Smithsonian Museum of Air and Space opened, it has been the most-visited museum in the world, and a must-see for visitors to Washington, D.C. The Museum tells the story of flight from the earliest days of balloon flight, to the sands of Kitty Hawk, to the current explorations of space. The Museum also offers the Lockheed Martin IMAX Theater, a planetarium, flight simulators, a Museum Store, and food service. You'll need to look high and low to find your clue solutions that are hidden here.
Smithsonian Museum of Natural History
Opened in 1910, the green-domed museum on the National Mall was among the first Smithsonian building constructed exclusively to house the national collections and research facilities. From rare gems, to dinosaurs and the insect zoo, this museum has something for everyone. Your treasure hunters will enjoy seeing some of the exhibits that were made even more popular by the 2009 movie "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" as they search for clue solutions.
